Gaze
When I looked in your direction and your eyes flashed upward
I knew I was hit
Your gaze was like lightening
Absolutely stunning
They say it never strikes the same place twice
But we can throw that myth out the window
Because being paralyzed by this pair of eyes over and over is a peril that I've come to know
Of being made stiff for an instant
Even when there was no intent
Because eyes like those create a feeling so intense
You naturally exude the jolts and bolts
That have my heart racing like a sprinter at the Olympics
What to do?
Let it settle down
gather my mettle
And then make my approach?
I'm feeling you
I'm feeling you
I've only looked at you
And yet I'm feeling you
Oh what to do.
