Garbage
Everyday or almost everyday a pile
of garbage is thrown in one spot,
which never seems to fill. Owners
of the garbage sometimes wonder
what keeps the spot from not
overflowing, not realizing the
garbage is normally recycled
into cakes, pastries, music
and nature trips.
They wonder where she takes all the problems
they dump on her,
without a scream, shout, or getting mad.
It's only her husband who understands
how her recycle plant works;
in the midst of tears, hurts and silence.
Her husband always prays that one day
she would just wake up,
and throw all her problematic company
into the recycle plant,
leaving her clean, light and refreshed.
