Game Face

'Can I have one moment with you' No, no Blast it, that will never work Why do I feel so awkward It's just one simple phrase Could it be this day or just the words I just can't bring myself to say Pacing up and down these halls lying in wait for a someone to turn the corner Man, what is with me It's one small thing just a tiny thing I've attempted time and time again still the doubt starts to fill like 'Why her' 'She'll never understand' I mean maybe she will but what if she doesn't I don't know Halfway there am I Is that her could it be her I'm hopeful now but all I see is feet not the person they're connected to Guess it's time to wear my game face get ready to spill the contents of my brain and hope my mouth can clean up the spill on aisle 3
