Galway Bay

A horizon of rain claws boiling across the sea Against an outline of island mountains draped in fog. Wisps of clouds lick lazy through scattered trees. Cattle show backs to the front in a soggy bog.  The river Corrib rips rapid under mossy arches White caps gurgle an early morning song Over vibrant green rocks down into the marshes  Past a gracefully floating reflecting ballet of swans
