Funny Man

My nick names, Funny Skunky Some people think my jokes stink Yet I'm clever like a monkey You'll laugh before you blink You'll try not to laugh At my silly jokes Yet at your funny bone I take my poke Resistance is futile Will power goes up in smoke I stand on the stage With my blurry eyes A combination of witty Stupid and wise A drink in my hand A white striped shirt On the outside I laugh When inside I hurt From club to club Wanting my big break You think I look calm Yet inside I shake So listen to my banter As I turn a clever phrase I live to be funny I crave attention and praise

Hi this is such a endearing write...it reminds me, of smokey Robinson's tracks of my tears...although not stand up very creative, on outward apperance & guts but also fear & acceptance!! Lovely really enjoyed reading....ty4sharing:0)

WOW. that's all I can say to this one. Tomorrow is the big day. I am thinking about renting a horse down there and going for a ride. Havent been on a horse in years but have rode several times. Love Colleen

I wonder if this applies to people like Robin Williams or Jim Carey? they are so funny as if they are just tuned that way, to always be really humorous. But maybe it sometimes masks sadness. Maybe not for those two!! I enjoyed this one.

Not at all, actually Robin Williams is bi-polar. He has a brilliant mind and I have been a fan since Mork and Mindy.

Hiya, Andrea........Williams is in a whole different realm than Carey.....I can easily see him being vulnerable and crying. Did you see that movie he did with Billy Crystal where they were duped into thinking they might both be some kid's dad??? That's the magic of Williams. Sorry, Rick...hope you don't mind....
