Funny Bunnies

Two funny little bunny rabbits One chasing after the other Mister had one thing on his mind Miss Bunny had her druthers All around the juniper tree They scurried up a storm Oblivious to the big bad wolf Who was lurking in the corn Wolfie jumped out and chased them Soon forgot about their game More concerned about surviving To be eaten would be a shame All bunnies are quick little devils As they hippity hop around Old Wolfie pal got out of breath And had to go lie down Bunnies are really nice little guys Gathered leaves for Wolfie's head He soon forgot about eating them And nobody wound up dead! © Jack Ellison 2013

We had a bunny population explosion here in kelowna, the result of a couple of domestic bunnies set free. It created a lot of controversy when the culled them. I felt bad for the little bunnies. All that hopping about eventually led to their demise. I much prefer your happy tale.

Mice and rabbits... These are soo cute... I raised two rabbits named them Coffee Cup and Sammy Pie... We let Miss Coffee Cup go and the neighbors had fun watching and feeding her for years... Sammy Pie lived in the house and was potty trained... When I got married he he'd jump on the dresser and throw my Hubby's belt and wallet off the dresser every night... Jealous tike! ROLF! He really did... They became best buds after daily handfuls of clover. The way to a boy bunny is through his stomach.
