Funeral Appreciation Thank You
Thank you for walking with me
Through the rugged, ridged road.
Thank you for holding my hand
When I thought I had to walk alone.
Thank you for your kind words
That made my heart at ease.
Thank you for your sympathy
That showed me, that I don’t have to stand on my own.
Thank you for your donations
That made my mothers burial possible.
Thank you for the tributes
That made my spirit glad.
Thank you for the support
That made my mother rest peaceful.
Thank you for the flowers
That made my mother grave side beautiful.
Thank you for the cuddles
That kept my soul from falling apart.
Thank you for the dress code
That made everything bright.
Thank you for the horses
That wore lilac and stood upright.
Thank you for the pallbearers
Dress in black and white.
Thank you for the diggers
That dogged through the night.
Thank you Rowland Brothers
For the staff that was polite.
Thank you all for taking part and making my burden light
Its strangers, friends and family
Like you that made my mom life sunny and bright.
