Full Circle
The blue burst forth upon the trees
with the kind of glow heat lightning leaves
The paper wasps and moths agree
to incense dust the coral seas
As the velvet wonders drowsy yawn
the nightingale begins her song
They all perform this grand charade
to quell the summer's heat tirade
The fascination of the breeze
leaves rings of kohl on all the trees
and autumn exhales all it's zest
to bring the earth to her winter rest.
