A nice poem, I got married at age 21. I have grown up children now but I can honestly say, I prefer to fly solo now, Some relationships work others don't, But no more headaches or heartaches for me. Relationships are very very hard work these days. I remember my dad used to say you can't please everyone so please yourself, it's true, some people are never happy no matter how much we do for them.

it was Gibran who said "Work is love made visible" What he meant it's about connecting to something greater than the task at hand. but i take the point as when it is a selfish endeavor..... if you bake bread with indifference, you bake a bitter bread that feeds but half man's hunger.

Some people see relationships ad a job. I wish I came up with the idea to write about non- love as a full- time job. That's the boat I'm in. Thank you for enlightening me.

and... I think I know quite well how you feel... Then I remind myself of this sentence: "The distance we have to others is the distance we have to ourselves"

ideas rarely come from one person, there is only the one who puts it on paper...
