Frost comes as snow without clouds, bringing a brilliance to the dawn. I allow myself a moment to admire it, to see the many shapes of the water crystals. In only an hour it will rise up into the blue sky, a soft vapor in the brisk winter breeze.
cold winter morning
outside surfaces dusted
winter’s cold makeup
feet crunch frozen grass
breath of steam is quickly gone
Jack Frost takes a bite
