From Your Eyes
It’s been so long since you have been here,
Now the light falls from your eyes.
It’s been so long since the summer
Had such warm nights,
Long since the air so still.
We breathe for each other now
(In the same breath).
A snow lit night falls from inside you,
It falls away from your eyes
And only the moon knows for sure
What I think.
Still real the light falls away,
A white air breathes for us now…
In warm night that can last forever.
