From the first time I saw you I knew you were the one From the first time we locked eyes I knew you were mine From the first time we spoke I knew that you were more than one of my 'bros' Like a thief acting in the night you stole my heart Your smile was what bark is to a tree - A source of comfort from the good and the bad, the hot and the cold. Just knowing you changed me Like a potter's hands turning clay into something beautiful I was like grains of sand on a beach, following the wind with no sense of direction or my final destination.
