From Self-doubt to Self-love

Here goes a tale of a piece of coal, bullying and mocking whom was forever people's goal. Her black lustre made her a disgrace to many, leaving her in a dilemma about the worth of her own identity. Kicked and burned by some to sustain the roof over their heads, her heart screamed with a yearning to be loved. Is the world so fast paced, that the essence of love gets so thickly changed? When did love become an examination of appearance and accomplishment? With everyone staring at you with eyes of judgement? Even the helpless infant loves everyone without bias, as adults, from where did we learnt this novel and unhealthy 'love', far from pious? Amidst the self-disdain, she found solace within, with a resolve to define her worth, from where she would begin Burned under pressure in the forge's heat She kept her spirits high and discrete To one day become a diamond, a coveted gem desired by the same sheep who once condemned, which made her realise some profound lessons--life's anthem. Before anyone, your heart yearns for your own love, don't rely on others' validation or the heavens above. Self-love paves the way for self-improvement, it won't matter then - what he/she thinks of you 'cause life will love you by filling you with contentment. Let your heart be first loved by your mind and soul, and your self-confidence be under your control, enabling you to focus and achieve all your goals.
