From Our Very Beginning
From Our Very Beginning
Some say that from our very beginning
We all were born and soon started sinning
Going against God in each and every way
Sometimes His name in vein we did say.
Each of God's commandments often broke
And reacting to Him as if He was a joke
Even our own neighbors took advantage of
Not like ourselves them would we love.
Never molded our lives like God's Son
Stopped praying when each day was done
And quit thinking about God in our life
Forgot God's Son saves us from sin and strife.
What else could we possibly have done wrong?
Maybe this should be turned into a sad song
Here is my better idea what if every minute
We made sure God and His Son were both in it.
