From Jerusalem To Middle Earth and Back Again
I have been in the arms
of a lot of women
Christians, Jews, and non - believers
I have wandered for
years in Middle Earth
and have also visited
Jerusalem
Which way to turn?
Who to worship?
I sent in a poem today
to the American Tolkien Society
The Jewish New Year is coming up
Soon I will be in the presence
of the one before whom there is no pretense
Picking up a pen
I write this ode
Will I achieve fame? riches?
Maybe - maybe not
I send out this ode today
