From Here To Eternity
distance is the place
from here to there
one letter makes
the difference
in the whole affair
and that letter
a cross to which
i am aware
to what end
should i prepare
to think of such things
we must dare
decide where we're going
and then declare
such a subject
we handle with care
be kind to our soul
it's only fair
and then be something
fit for the air
cover the distance
from here to there
don't find your self
in the middle of dispair
use that cross
to make the repair
