From Grief to Glory

They were long and tousled, when the heart felt the first jolt of despair. With each passing moment, the strands reaching further, weathering tsunamis, thunder, sighs, wailing; Life. Every tug or tear, destroying the tresses from within, in the blink of an eye, unnoticed. They were short and shaggy for a while after that first goodbye. Like a Phoenix, they spread their wings, regaining what is lost. They are long and flowing, singing the symphony of triumph and resilience, now that the heart is home. Prompt: Hair
