From Across the Room

11-8-2011 From across the room, From afar, every once in a while,I do see her smile,Throughout my memory,I find that rare, As she moves closer, just like when she first appeared, I dare not to look into her eyes, Her darkened eyes, I haven't seen in many miles, those of midnight black, I wonder why she is here, To keep her smile- I look away, Between us has been too much pain, I know to be forgiven is to forgive, I must protect myself and my heart from the fear,I pretend for once that I wasn’t even there. Thinking back to when, before she was here.which was very long ago.
