I like the way that you use mirrored vowel sounds in the lines to give a chiming effect and the start contrast of the last line.

just now seeing the comment you made to me down here. Yes, it is discouraging when some of our poems do not get as many comments as others. I notice If I post two in one day, the first one rarely gets as many as the second one!!

ooooh, I love that imagery of red hungry eyes, I can't remember if you were someone that read my midnight triolet. but that one is about my black cat and I guess most of the readers are not getting it. hahaha I LIKE black cat poems like this one.
