Friendships
Friendships are akin to an established tree,
In order for both to flourish and survive;
It necessitates a certain measure of attention,
Just to maintain, permitting both to thrive.
Many times friendships become constrained,
Due to circumstances that living presents.
Most often we're occupied and through neglect,
Have forgotten what a relationship represents.
I will not always be correct in my affairs,
But I'll generally be following my heart.
I'll never intentionally leave you hurting,
But nurturing your friendship as fine art.
Frequently I present myself with this question,
If my friendship to another could be traded;
Would it be for sale and / or at what price,
Or by no means would you be persuaded.
