Friends

They come and go like autumn leaves, Changing colour, falling to the ground, But whilst they're there you trust their word, And want to please the big head nerd. The nerd, she likes to prove herself, Despite her act as a muddled elf, Though truth be told, she's insecure, But her behaviour, I must endure. I know these people come and go, But sometimes I just want to know, Who's there for me at a difficult time, And who will leave me at the chime.
