Friends


Friends

I came into this place, not knowing what to expect.
I found a lot of nice people in this special part of the
world. I have made a lot of friends. I am sure - from
heaven they were sent.

My new friends I have never seen. Only pictures of
some I have seen. I don't need to see their faces, I
have already seen their hearts.

They are true and understanding. If I need them, they
are there. It is hard to find this kind of friends - you
don't find them everywhere.

So friends - this is a special tribute to each and everyone 
of you. If I ever leave this place, I will take you in my heart.
I might make new friends, but I will never forget the old,
because the new ones will be silver, but the old ones will
always be gold...

Thanks for the wonderful compliment to all of soup members..It is a nice community to visit and be able to enjoy the friendship and like mindedness that is here..Enjoyed reading your work..I do like the quote make new friends but keep the old for one is silver and the other gold..Thanks for the visit to my page..I haven't given up chocolate yet.They say that it is good for one in small quantities..I do eat it occasionally..My mother had a recipe for chocolate cake which was out of this world..SK

Mother made these thin cake layers which were good just by themselves..She iced the cake with fudge, yes, fudge..She used the fudge recipe on the Cocoa can or box..She would not cook it quite to the candy stage and frost those thin layers maybe five or six or seven of them..Sara
