Friends

Today when you have friends You don’t know who is who Some will be dishonest And some of them will be true Some will talk about others Then point the finger at you They will make all the trouble Then put the blame on you Some will get close to you By using false pretenses Then stab you in the back And still claim to be your friends My grand mother use to say True friends are like family The true bound of friendship Will last till eternity My father would always tell us Always treat others kind Only then true happiness Of life you will find A true friend will tell you If you are doing wrong Will never lead you astray Or put you down We all need friends Cause one hand cannot clap Some times we all need A helping hand on the back Some will just want from you Even take the very the last one Then will walk away from you Once your use to them is done Just as the bible says False Prophets are among us So are many false friends To betrayed your trust I thought I found some friends That I could really trust but I got to learn to be More careful I really must I even open up to them And bear what’s in my heart But their only intentions Was to tore me apart Friendship is gift That must be appreciate You won’t miss a true friend Until it is to late
