Fried Green Tomatoes
Praise be to the cook
Who wrote the book
With the plan
To fry green tomatoes in the pan
Sliced thin very green
Battered or floured
On the scene
Dropped in hot grease sour
Sizzle in the pan
Can be finest hour
Green tomatoes in flour
Man oh man power
