Fresh Fallen Snow
Fresh Fallen Snow
You waken to a white blanket of fresh fallen snow
The chill of a winter wind, within temperatures below
The glistening white covering all of the trees and land
Whisper of wind makes the snow dance on command
The gentlest of snowfall begins to swirl once again
Adding more depth of snow, from when winter began
The gleaming bright blanket, untouched by anything
Ever deeper with every storm, till first signs of spring
The early morning sun animates, sparkling intensifies
The brilliant palette of white, blinding to the naked eyes
The glitter spreads across everything it shall touch
Nature’s wondrous seasons, embracing us so much
