French Toast

Egg Milk Some bread Add butter In a frying pan Heat your frying pan modestly. Beat the egg, add the milk, dip the bread in that mixture. Each slice of dipped bread is added to the pan, and cooked gently until both sides are browned. It may be known as “French Toast” today, but did you know that before the First World War, nearly everybody referred to it as “German Toast”?

Robert, made me desire to have that French Toast again with some Maple Syrup..I will have to cook up a batch one day and just go light on the syrup..Diabetic...Thanks for stopping by..It is hard to write more than 13 syllables and keep it to one line on here..The way that I understand it each line should stay on a single line..Thanks for the kind review..Sara

This screen is just not wide enough to accommodate everything on one line. If you see the 21 and 34 syllable lines, you will notice they are both single continuous lines.
