if ya hoss runs off n leaves ya, if it wont come back thats right, hit it over th ass with the bridle, till it runs right outa sight, cos ya bound to catch a new one, if ya cast the rope just right, to saddle up n mount n ride, all through the summer night... catch a new horse or shiela hey:)

I agree.. a heartless feel .. Winter is so glum to me ..I am a Summer baby and Winter makes me rather sad.. except for holidays of course.. nice analogies in this piece Russell...

cold weather AND relationships. Two good topics to compare, Russell. and they are both NO fun! (by the way, I totally made up that mermaid sonnet. It was implying sexual abuse of the child and my kids were never abused by anyone. Most of my poetry is fictional. But some are true!)
