Blank presentations of nothing, obviously
A relationship of one, bringing a calming numb
Feelings getting better and better than before
Grab hold of that distant memory, then let go
Forgetfulness seems to be scarce as of late
Seems the memories that cause the most pain
Are the memories that won’t go away
