Freedom's Troubled Bridge

My eyes are seeing strange things, indeed. Maybe I’ve been here too long. I’ve had my time to worry, when trails got dangerous on my journey home. Now, I’d like to enjoy my time, clamoring around for a new lesson to learn, but I’ve never seen America in this kind of trouble, ‘What a Deadly Bridge to Burn.” We’ve been through integration, that puts the Races at odds, I know. We tried to understand each other and know we’ve got a ways to go. We fought the wars; we were brothers, while hearing the terrible cries. A soldier was just a soldier, another warrior in the struggle to survive. . But politicians don’t have to fight wars, while strutting their perverted views. They have ambushed the sacred oath for the twisted changes they pursue. They seem blind to their crazy schemes and what the future may hold, never a care to understand the misseries, they’re pushing through, so bold It should not take a war or stress, for life is the best teacher of all, and legal roads are paved and open so, why the porous walls? What are the reasons to turn the neck, searching for the confusing way? The Southern Border paints that vivid picture, staring in our eyes today. The grass may look appealing from this side, looking over on the Socialist side But others are crying out the warning, “Don’t take that deadly ride.” We have time to clear our thoughts before God’s gift is too weak to turn. We have the vote so, if America is lost, the Bridge to Freedom will Burn.”
