Free Speech
Hateful words ring out, attacking,
Full of malice, piggybacking
On the wings of dire dogma that is narrow to the core.
And the people who are screeching
To the heavens, say their preaching
Is protected and reflected in the nation's guarantor:
'Free Speech'.
Words of hate are links of chains
That bind and burden freedom's gains;
Wrapped around a people's progress, dragging them into the mire.
Stunted in the mud encumbered,
Mankind's days are surely numbered;
Lest he can but break the bondage: to true liberty aspire -
FREE Speech!
Free all words from racist bent
To free ourselves from impairment.
For speech that is most truly free
Emancipates society.
