The late George Harrison described those persons who gained the world and lost their soul. That was from his only track "Within You, Without You" on the "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album by the Beatles. Your limerick reminded me of those lyrics. Good write.

Yup, being a winner can turn us into losers real fast. Guess I should consider myself lucky for never having won. Yeah, right. Nice write - good luck in the contest.

Very cute Andrea. And not too far off the track. I read that most lottery winners crash in one way or another. Great job here. Sure to be a winner. God Bless, JB
