Fraulein Wexler and Lady Wakefield

dramatic verse Instead of drinking coffee in the cafés of Berlin, two years have passed; we find our Fraulein has moved once again - Fraulein Wexler is now employed at London’s Coffee Sense. While in Berlin she’d met a barista par excellence, Toji, who proposed a job in the coffee industry. Pardon the digression, while I tell you the back-story. Toji’s dad sells coffee in the London vicinity; he visited her often when she moved to Germany. His stopovers, more frequent, once he met her new-found friend, soon his proposal was marriage, her maiden state to end. Yes, once he met Fraulein Wexler, the rest is history London was the next big move; thanks to matchmaker Toji. Instead of drinking coffee in the cafés of Berlin, Our Fraulein Wexler is planning a wedding in London. Next Tuesday, she will become Lady Wakefield of Soho, a quiet affair in the gardens near Maison Bertaux. Needless to say,Toji will be there for each wedding guest - brewing a mix of Dad's own choosing – coffee at its best. written 11 March 2016
