A fox in the mist crossed my road driving uphill ~he was so lucky I could see his shiny eyes begging for another chance

definitely one lucky fox. We have coyotes here; we often see them at night...not near the houses but on the county road behind our house...the other day one was loose in our neighborhood...gave me quite a fright while I was walking...anyway, I loved your poem, pretty foxy of you :-) hugs, Sara
