Four Smiling Books

Four cute books in a row Brought me a rainbow So much so that I have To sit with them now And compose the show The first one a moon With her sweet smile Sprouts up the leaves Hold them in my chest I am there on a crest In the second smile Was the river Nile Gestured me a kiss Came a deep thrill Hand in hand the heal In the third smile Stood the fountain From the running train Held it in my eyes Fresh paddy and rice In the fourth one Under the cap brown Birds called in joy Helen in Troy I wore a crown The books in four hues Colors just for you _______________________
