Found In the Wild
He found me in the wild;
Lifted me like a lamb in His arms.
He looked at my face, and
Pried open my eyes.
In His eyes, I saw a tongue:
A dancing golden flame.
I was afraid.
He knew it.
He pressed me to His bosom,
Pelted my flat cheeks with pecks.
I trembled.
"I stink, don't I?"
He smiled. "That's why I found you;
To make you clean, lovely."
"Me?" My eyes popped.
"Me?"
His eyes gleamed.
"Yes, you're mine."
I tried to free myself.
He smiled again.
On wings, He lifted me,
Like a giant eagle.
Above the clouds, we flew;
Still flying!
I saw the wild fade, felt dizzy;
Still dizzy! We soar
'Till He plants my feet
On heaven's table land.
