Our lives are like a beautiful cloak richly embroidered with gold thread and jewels Unique in it's texture and presence twirling around sending reflections of glory to all we know Aren't we magnificent and grand Along comes a hurt and then another and then another they land and splash like mud until all the beauties of our lives are covered up with pain and we don't like ourselves anymore We should know we are still beautiful beings even though we are hurting healing is like washing the mud away revealing our original magnificence that never changed just our perception did
