My feet have grown weary from traveling a great distance A mile worth walked when one has discovered a love that posses such consistence Or maybe a touch that is so tender down to the last texture I was ready to end this search but my heart wasn't ready for closure Now I take quick glances at the many places I abandon And thank the heavens above that I'm still standing Still strong yet after enduring such suffering from the past Present emotions stay content hoping that they will last Welcomed with open arms but pulled back by distractions Wondering to myself how will the world respond to my actions One hand on the door while the other caresses soft flesh The air outside is cool but I never felt a breeze so fresh Or even a desire so strong, holding my feet in place And a passion inside me that made continue this chase Undescribable feelings only can be distinguished as being divine Now I take that lost hand and claim what's mine
