Forsaken

Forgotten lie the graves of the forsaken, long unremembered, strangled by the grasses of neglect. Misbegotten, forever mute they fester, worm-mingled, mercy less, with no vestige of respect.

Reminds me of the graphic sorrows of our Indian population and the genocide of all those children that have no known grave. Seems I pick so many of yours that are meaningful to me. Thanks Keith

Keith, this is a an awesome write. So sad and well written. Working with senior citizens it sickens me to tell you many are still living and breathing, and just as forgotten. Sad, so sad. Love, Shar

It always saddens me to see neglected graves, forgotten by the living. It's as if the lives of those passed don't mean anything anymore. You capture this scene so well. Kat
