Forgotten Memories
I feel trapped between the real and the surreal
crippled by the amputation of the language,
the barrier making the distances unable to cross.
The emotions unable to be expressed,
the world marvellous, yet life so cruel.
Those who briefly enter our lives
come with chaos destroying the inner world,
with a glimpse of hope they shine,
vanish like a shooting star,
leaving behind not a trace of star dust.
The past lands leave no signs,
any remnant of the footprints in existence,
wash away in the tides of time,
in the abyss of the forgotten memories.
