Forgotten Lost
I'm a kaleidoscope of unwanted colors
A maze of stars across the sky
A hidden map that leads to nowhere
And I’m okay with that
For I know you
Must be lost to be found
And you must
lose your way
To find it again
And I have forgotten
But that simply means
I will remember
I am a love letter written backwards
A dictionary questioning meaning
A fire burning in the rain.
I am a question
Never asked
Never answered
For I don’t know
How or when
Or why
I simply know
I must and
I won’t
I am a wheel turning backwards
A leaf flying in the air
A flash flood on a July morning
Something impossible
Yet
Plausible
Some mystery
Where no clue is
Found.
Cause I’m still lost
Still impossible
Still forgotten
But like a rainstorm on the desert
Like a lightning strike in the dirt
Like footsteps in dust
I will be found
And impossibly
Remembered.
