Forgiveness

The heart aches for forgiveness And the soul weeps of misery The rain is crying tears of blood The wind is howling of deep sorrow Why won't the pain stop The knife driving in deeper Jagged memories flash before her Petrified of what is to come Voices ringing in her head. Childhood memories haunt her through and through The past terrifies her And is now reunited The hurtful words that once were said Have now come to past Waking up in a deep sweat Blinding her vision Of once was and now has begun Forgiveness is a word that is easily said But is wrong not to do How do you forgive when you cannot forget Haunted by screams Memories flooding through and through Time will tell all And never again will be spoken!! This is a writing with feeling. You need two small corrections in your thirteenth and fourteenth lines: replace "was" with "were" and "Has" with "Have". You are dealing with a plural noun here.

Thank you very much Robert, I have fixed that on my paper, now if I can just figure out how to fix it on here lol It is one of my favorite poems I have wrote, it is about my first husband so it does have a lot of emotion that goes with it.
