Forgetfulness
Delicate light lay upon
Me.
I feel your hands like the message said they would be.
A graceful grazing across my head
and
A presence secure.
One I have sought to understand.
I perceive that
I
lay beneath you
And that I am less.
What I am remembering is that I once was what
you
are.
Peace that is resilient, persistent, evident.
I have missed you because I’d forgotten
That you surround
Me
With the strength of my own wisdom.
I pray with mighty intent
To aid me in recalling my true essence
Because
I have forgotten
