Jimmy Buffet has a lyric, A permenant reminder of a tempory feeling reguarding tatoo's and other aspects of life. But a tatoo of Mom so to speak is a permenant reminder of an eternal bond. Your sentiment of your Mom is very clear. May you know her closeness forever.

Anne, this is so true. My mom's been gone since 1984, but I still dream of her and she is always in my heart. I hope you have entered this poignant senryu in Francine's contest. Very nice -- what a collection you have in your Poems from the Heart series! Love, Carolyn
