Forever
Deep Ocean, hard notion, dear Friend
Let me hold your heart in my hand
The night will never be so cold,
Though we all hold petty cash
I find my lute in another's arms
And I am grateful to be a part
I know not my prayers,
For soothing tones
A purse of gold dangles by a thread
Dear friend hold tight
For those strings will be mended,
And your life will be yours
At the break of tomorrow
The gravest darkness
Can be no worse,
Than your own shadow
These words love you
Like the sun, and the moon
I wish then to guide light,
To that which is right
I do not think them my own
They come from something better
Something pure, something white
I want them only to give
Dear friend, hold tight
The sun will shine,
And you will be warm,
Forever…
