Forecasting Rainbows
The weatherman is predicting rainbows
As this early autumn storm passes by
A few more weeks to enjoy the warmth
Before southward the geese start to fly...
I savor his words this fall evening
As I watch the pink clouds in the sky
The world could use a bit of soft color
Knowing soon the last faded rose will die....
