I felt that I must put this quickly to pen
Stemming from courage felt within
An exegesis now to fully deliver
Maybe to understand fear, quiver;

Witness to acts; execrable horror,
Silence such a ghostly mirror
Reflective of liberal thought profligates
Unheard of will be these debates

Cursed to sit, watch them squabble semantics;
Pedantic's breathing darkness frantic!
I damn them all, these caretaker's of hellfire;
Put life lower on the tree sire,

No I will not stand idle by
Watch innocents cringe, slowly die;

They breathe but a shallow word

    Halleluja, somebody had to say it and it gets exciting as I move through your verse. Sometimes force is the only language people know. Great verse Tim!

    Interesting work that is well written and thought out..The line "witness to acts; execrabe horror" makes me think that this is about some kind of abuse..Thanks for stopping by, reading, and leaving a kind review of my work..Sara

    Thank you to Sara, Nette, and Mrs. Linda. I usually do not comment on the meaning of my poems. This one, to be clear, is actually regarding the decision to push contraceptives on the Catholic faith. Mrs. Sara, it could certainly be labeled abuse. Just a rant about how sick I am of the forced push of ideologies that our government was not founded upon.
