Forbidden Love

Turn off the lights Turn the music on low Light the candles Watch the flames flicker and glow See the shadows dance across the walls The shadows of a man and of a woman Their silhouette now the making of a love story The illusion of their embrace enticing As their separate bodies become one The heat of the candle flame inferior in comparison To the heat that couple is creating and feeling The fluttering of their hands roaming across one another's body The mingling of their words, breath, lips Their legs intertwined The wax of the candles beginning to drip Time no longer exists in this world, their world Hours pass by like minutes Cherishing each one that passes Knowing it could be one of their last This is their forbidden love Tammy Blakely
