Forbidden Fruit
I knew that instant, the very first day
Bad case of 'caught up in the moment'
Senses abused, you blew me away
Chemical, violent and potent
For one perfect week, I try to deny
Cant tell the affect that you have
Beats me and eats me and kills me inside
I fear if I speak, you will laugh
Compare me to you, I'm nothing, a germ
A something you'd find on your shoe
I don't want you ruined but I'll never learn
I must keep my filthy hands off you
I'd cover the distance and wait for an age
I kneel and I pray that you feel the same way.
