Forbidden
Under blackened sky and quiet space, you approached...
my logic slipping away.
As boundaries crashed, lines were crossed, my hands inches away from
the curves of your body.
I felt your lips quiver, as your voice became softer....lowering to a lull.
and at that moment, I ached for you.
As time ticked away, you comforted me with sweet breath and electric carress.
Too soon the stars fell sleepy and my reasoning returned,
our yearning for each other tucked away in Pandora's Box.
I waited to realize how wrong it was to want you...
The longer I waited, the more you consumed me.
My dreams are of green eyes under forbidden circumstance...
trembling hands with disregard for authority.
You've become a chapter in my life, ended even before it began.
And as I close my eyes.....I smile to myself......forbidden.
