For You and For Me

How do I decribe my love... without it sounding to sappy? When did it become so obscure, to say, I just want him to be happy? To know someone who loved you once... loves you no more and loves another. Well, that is that, and I'll be okay. Content as a lonely mother. My fault is that I was too extreme. Too passionate to be united. Why do lovers feel the fire, if not to be ignited? And because I spared him the ugliness, the beating of the pain... He'll live in bliss and merriment, amidst what he calls the insane. The damaged girl he found long at last, too late for the two to hold. Is now a woman, and a broken story... too faded and worn to be told.
